Volunteering - making a lasting difference in someone's life...as well as your own. Ask any of our patients, andthey'll likely tell you the volunteers who visit them touch their hearts. They look forward to the visits and the compassionate care volunteers bring.
If you have a passion for caring for others and are looking for a way to make a difference in people's lives,consider becoming a hospice volunteer. Our volunteers are important part of our hospice care team, helping improve the quality of life for our patients, their families and their caregivers.
We have activities with patients: offering companionship, reading and writing letters and email messages, playing chess, card and board games, knitting and other crafts, providing support at time of death, Veteran toVeteran visits and pet therapy.
Emotional Support: Making spiritual prayer calls, attending funerals, making weekly Tuck in Calls, sewing memorial pillows.

Administrative Support: Assisting with office duties, answering phones
