The objective of the program is to provide inclusive mentorship support to children/teens who are at risk for negative outcomes. Participants will be identified through a holistic process which encompasses school performance, behavioral referrals, and level of need. Mentors will assist economically disadvantaged children/teens in overcoming barriers such as behavioral challenges and limited access to resources. Members will have recurring access to vulnerable populations. Mentors will be assigned 15-20 students to follow throughout the program year, monitoring academics, discipline referrals, and connecting to existing programs within the school and in the community.

Mentors will also engage in activities directly addressing the impacts of Covid-19. By utilizing evidence based Social Emotional Learning curriculums mentors will assist their mentees with:
- developing self awareness, self control & interpersonal skills
- managing own thoughts, feelings & actions
- learning how to work as a member of a team and collaborate
- ensuring the household has necessary cleaning/sanitizing products
- modeling safe behaviors (distancing guidelines, handwashing)
