Dear Veterans,
We at Kindred Hospice are so appreciative of all you have contributed to the service of our country. When a veteran enters our hospice care as a patient we want to be sure we honor them as a veteran. We provide a certificate, flag and pin for the veteran. Our hope is that we can recruit veteran volunteers who are willing to help with the pinning ceremony and/or provide companionship to a veteran in his last days, weeks and months. I look forward to hearing from you to further discuss this opportunity. We provide services in the Detroit metro area from the Down River area to northern Oakland and Macomb counties.

We do regular Covid screenings before every volunteer visit.
