Are you outgoing and want to talk with new people? Do you love making other's people's day? Are you becoming more socially conscious, and looking to make a difference globally?
Ten Thousand Villages in Bryn Mawr is seeking Sales Floor Volunteers during the weekends to help us engage with customers, find the perfect gifts, and share stories about our handcrafted products and fair trade. No previous retail experience is required - we'll provide all the training you need.
Volunteers should be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for up to 4 hours. We ask for at least one shift per month, but many of our volunteers come weekly because we have so much fun!
This position is perfect for a recently retired person looking to safely interact with new people in an upbeat store environment while following all CDC social distancing, sanitizing, and masking guidelines. Students can also benefit from gaining sales experience and learning about fair trade.
