Volunteers make a difference in the lives of families that come through our doors by hosting, listening and by simply being there.
The Ronald McDonald House in Bangor is seeking volunteers to help keep this "home away from home" running strong. Volunteers assist with checking families in and out of the house, orienting new families, front desk coverage and administrative tasks, as well as cleaning and organizing.
We are looking for volunteers who can cover regular or occasional shifts from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on weekdays (Monday through Thursday). Shifts may be covered on a weekly, biweekly, monthly or occasional basis depending on what works for your schedule.
If you are interested in supporting families while their children are in the hospital or receiving treatment locally, we would love to hear from you!

Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its grassroots-driven programs offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and regions and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process. RMHC and its global network of local Chapters also have hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and program services to children's programs around the world.
