Volunteers make a difference in the lives of families that come through our doors by hosting, listening and by simply being there.
The Ronald McDonald House in Bangor is seeking volunteers to help keep this "home away from home" running strong. Volunteers may assist with checking families in and out of the house, orienting new families, front desk coverage and administrative tasks, as well as cleaning and organizing in common areas.
We are actively looking for volunteers who can cover regular or occasional shifts from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on weekdays. Shifts may be covered on a weekly, biweekly, monthly or occasional basis depending on what works for your schedule.
COVID-19 protocols include daily wellness checks, face masks & hand washing, social distancing, and limited capacities for families, staff and volunteers.
If you are interested in supporting families while their children are in the hospital or receiving treatment locally, we would love to hear from you!
