Brady's K9 Fund is putting on a fun free safety fair in Strongsville, Ohio right at the Strongsville Commons (The large grass area in front of the police department) on Saturday August 21, 2021 12:00 - 2:00pm. This event will be highlighting all that first responders do by providing K-9 and fire department demonstrations. We also will have first responder touch-a-car as well as community tables for safety information and giveaways. We are looking for volunteers to run Brady's K9 Fund table selling T-shirts, the bike give away ticket section, a snack table, and be at the demonstration area to assure people stay back behind the tape. With these volunteers we are assured that we can make this great community event a success. We are looking for volunteers that are 15 years old + because we need someone responsible enough to run electronic payments and money transactions.
Our mission is to donate practical, mission ready ballistic vests to police and military working dogs. We want the K-9's who protect our communities across the United States to be protected their entire shift by a ballistic vest, just like their human partners.
We donate ballistic vests to as many police and military K9's as we can. These beautiful working dogs do not obtain these vests automatically as K9 units are typically run by donation. We want these working dogs to have access to a ballistic vest they can wear their entire shift and not just when time permits to put the vest on the dog. We have partnered with LOF Defence because we feel that is the best vest that fits our goals.
