Fosters for DFW Lab Rescue are needed. Be part of a team who rescues, rehabilitates and finds a Labrador a forever loving home. Fostering generally entails a 2-week in-home commitment at the on-set. Rewarding, especially if you love dogs! Send us a message and get ready for loving, sloppy, labby kisses.

Mission Statement

OUR MISSION The Dallas Fort Worth Labrador Retriever Rescue Club, Inc. (DFWLR-RC) is dedicated to alleviating the needless death and suffering of home-less or misplaced (lost and stray) purebred Labrador Retrievers in the Dallas Fort Worth area. By rescuing and rehabilitating homeless Labradors in our community, vigorously promoting responsible dog ownership through active participation in pet-related events, and through our own education program, we strive for a better life for each of our animals

Description

We are a 100% volunteer-run organization. Started in 1997. With over 23 years, we rescue an average of 300 Labrador Retrievers a year. We rely solely on volunteer hours and donations to keep the day to day functions of the rescue going. From Intake to applications, fostering, adoptions and support. It is our volunteers that help save these amazing and beautiful creatures. 97% of all donations go directly to the care of saving Labradors.
