Under the umbrella of Ride the Road to Recovery Program, the T.I.R.E.S. Volunteer Program is breaking down the barriers for our rural community and neighbors. We provide transportation needs to and from many Surry County medical and mental health facilities, also linked appointments for individuals in recovery. Specifically for our neighbors that do not qualify for transportation assistance thru YVEDDI or other pay to ride transportation services in Surry County, North Carolina
Volunteer drivers will use County owned vehicles rather than using their personal cars. This rewarding opportunity is waiting for someone like you. Take the wheel and help your community and neighbors spread miles of smiles.
