Frisco Heritage Center & Museum needs adult volunteers to sit at the front desk, greet visitors, give them general information about the Museum and grounds, and answer any questions they might have. The museum is free, so no money is not involved. Volunteers for this position MUST be over 18 years of age, as they deal with the public directly.
This is often a quiet job, so someone who likes to read and also likes people and museums would be perfect for this position.
Frisco Heritage Museum schedules individual Volunteer Interview and Orientation sessions before volunteering at Frisco Heritage Museum. Anyone ages 18 and up interested in volunteering can come and find out more about what opportunities we offer and ask the Arts & Culture Educator questions about the museum and village. This is a requirement before volunteering at the Frisco Heritage Museum & Center. Fill out the application for the Municipal Volunteer Program before attending. (Link follows:

Exploring the Past, Imagining the Future. The mission of the Frisco Heritage Center is to collect, preserve, study, interpret, exhibit, and stimulate appreciation for and knowledge of the history and culture of Frisco, Texas and the North Texas region to all the people of the region, and to the visitors attracted to the area.
Welcome to the Frisco Heritage Center, a historical park where you can visit the Frisco Heritage Museum, 3 historic buildings and 3 replica buildings, a working blacksmith forge, a steam locomotive, a wooden caboose, and more. Exhibits invite visitors to explore the rich history of the area, chronicling the community's rise from a stop along the Shawnee Trail to the development of the city of Frisco, Texas, now one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.
Come and visit monthly during our Third Sunday Open House events sponsored by the Frisco Heritage Association. Bring the family from 1 to 4 p.m. to discover the past and tour our buildings. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for upcoming activities, special events, camps, and exhibits!
