Seva Hospice is looking for compassionate individuals who enjoy spending time with people. Patient Care Volunteers provide compassionate, non-medical care to patients and families who are faced with terminal illness. Volunteers serve as advocates and become a vital part of the patient care team. Many times by providing a listening ear, our simple act becomes the most meaningful help we can offer. Some other activities may include playing cards, reading a book, writing letters or helping with light housework.

- Volunteers choose their schedules. Patient visits run anywhere from 1-4 hours, with the average visit 2 hours, 1-2 times per week
- Complete Seva Hospice Training, which includes background check, drug and health screening, TB testing and online training.
