The organization has aimed to support the students in health colleges and secondary schools. So, that we declare that all our volunteers will work peaceful all their stay. The volunteers will attend to teaching classes and others will attend to health facility whereby they will treat sick people by diagnosing them, providing medications and other investigations, attending some procedures depending on the case that the patient may be suffering from.
You will be assisted and be translated from Swahili language to English so that to bring understanding to each other. We do offer delivery and other simple procedures. Any doctor or Nurse who wishes to come with his medications or equipment is very much welcome. Those having Educational qualification will be shifted to our nearby secondary schools, so that will attend to the respective schools for sessions according to educational guidelines.
The organization and the team will have to visit those people who are being served by the organization, there will provide some supports to those people including; clothes, shoes, pencils and pen, psychological supports, medication for epileptic clients, provision of health education on communicable and non communicable diseases and provision of nutrition education.
Doctors, Nurses and Teachers have a very high advantage of getting the chance to work with TEHDSO team, intern doctors are also welcome including expert doctors or doctors with Specialization. Any volunteer with a wish to invest in Tanzania is very much welcome and we can work as partners on establishing the institution and all registration procedures will be done by the local partner.
We consider provision of Covid 19 health education and adhering to CDC social distancing guidelines. So, that we are going to carry this on how to control Covid 19 spread and control including social distancing, use of sanitizers and other methods on prevention of Covid 19.

- History of the organization:
TANZANIA ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND DISABILITY SERVICES ORGANIZATION (TEHDSO). The organization registered on 20th March 2018 with registration No.00NGO/0009593 for promoting community health and environmental conservation. - Goals Raising community awareness on of health and communicable diseases like HIV and AIDS, and non-communicable diseases. Promote and enhance environmental protection and conservation.
- Programs: Health Program (Teaching Program) Environmental Conservation Program, Vocational training and job creation program, Women empowerment program, Orphans and Vulnerable Children support program, Program for the disabled, Program for the sick people, Program for the people living with HIV/AIDS, Program for Nursery and Day Care center.
Achievements
Provision of health education on non, and communicable diseases. Conduct research, mobilize/provide support to (MVC’S), IPC Services, Serve terminally ill, CHF support, Environmental protection. Environmental health, Supporting the poor/disabled/sick/orphans/vulnerable children/young women and women. Promote Human Rights to People, relief/peace & conflict management. Fund raising.
