We are seeking people in the Charlotte, Triad, and Western Regions of NC who have a flexible schedule and a passion for working with children. In this role, you will increase the anticipation and excitement of the wish by connecting with a wish family and creating meaningful actions that boost the child’s wish journey. This can include delivering or mailing care-packages, tasty treats, gifts and more.
Requirements for this volunteer role:
1. Must be at least 18 years old
2. Complete and submit volunteer paperwork
3. Complete a self-paid background check (The cost is roughly $26 and are run once every three years)
4. Complete our annual Conflict of Interest Form (due every January)
5. Attend a Wish Booster training either in-person or online
6. Purchase a t-shirt at the training or from makeawishmarketplace.com to wear during booster deliveries
7. Plan and deliver one booster per wish (i.e. care package, countdown calendar, send-off gift etc.)
8. Sign up for a minimum of 3 boosters per year
