We launched the First Focus Ambassadors for Children Network because we believe this is an important moment to use our voices for kids. By joining this fast-growing grassroots movement of advocates, you can speak up in support of vaccine access for children, child poverty reduction, child care improvements, and more. Ambassadors for Children have access to First Focus policy briefings, action opportunities, and virtual events featuring policy experts and Capitol Hill staffers.
When you become an Ambassador for Children, you will be invited to:- Learn: Receive briefings on federal policy and budget developments that impact children
- Engage: Attend virtual trainings and webinars to hear from experts and build community
- Take Action: Respond to action alerts and share action opportunities with others
- Advancing equity and securing resources for kids
- Learning about how federal policies affect kids and families

Mission Statement
The First Focus Campaign for Children presses for policy changes to improve the well-being and protect the rights of the next generation of America’s leaders. Our advocacy is focused in the areas of child health, education, early childhood, family economics, child welfare, immigration, and child safety, in addition to tax and budget policies that lift children out of poverty. In all our advocacy, we seek to increase the federal investment in programs that support and protect our nation’s most precious resource, our children.
Description
The First Focus Campaign for Children is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization affiliated with First Focus, a bipartisan children’s advocacy organization. The Campaign for Children advocates directly for legislative change in Congress to ensure children and families are a priority in federal policy and budget decisions.
