Emergency Food Pantry

The Rooted & Rising- Washington Park Community Food Center is open, and in need of volunteers!

During a shift volunteers are needed to assist patrons 'shop' for their food items, restock the shelves, sort and check dates on donated food, pack hygiene kits, and help people bag up their food to take home.

We currently need volunteers on Monday's and Wednesday's from 12:00pm-2:00pm and 2:00pm-4:00pm. We ask that volunteers are able to pick up at least one shift per month, though you may sign up for as many as you can.

Use your free time to help feed families and individuals in need in the community!
