Though our virtual tutoring services began in June of 2020, Free Tutoring Center spent its previous years providing specialized tutoring and academic coaching services for underprivileged students in the Bay Area. Over two years of working with 15+ families, we raised about $2.3 million in scholarship money and helped students unlock new academic opportunities at elite private high schools. We specialize in virtual subject tutoring, but we also provide academic coaching, consulting, and high school admissions assistance to students who show great academic ability. We expanded our organization to help students who are struggling with virtual learning.

Mission Statement

The Free Tutoring Center offers elite academic consulting, coaching, and subject tutoring services to motivated middle and elementary school students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Description

We offer elite tutoring services to underprivileged students by interviewing and selecting high-quality tutors and matching them to each student. Our curriculum is designed to accelerate learning and help students get ahead in their academics. We offer sessions multiple times per week, all of which are monitored to ensure instructional quality. Our approach makes it possible for students to do better with their academics and excel in their subjects. Over the years, FTC has helped students earn $2.5 million in scholarships.
