About this Job Total Hospice and Palliative Care supports patients and their families with compassion, care, and dignity. We believe in providing outstanding service and look to volunteers to help support our efforts. Volunteers help support veteran patients, families, and clinical staff with a wide variety of tasks as it relates to the hospice mission and philosophy. Locations: Group homes, assisted living facilities, patient homes. We would love to have you be a part of our team, and we will provide the required orientation and training! About Total Hospice and Palliative Care Hospice care is provided to patients and their families with a focus on care, dignity and comfort rather than curing. Hospice provides a variety of services including pain and symptom management with emotional and spiritual support. Support is also provided to the patient’s loved ones. All provided care is tailored to the wishes and needs of the particular patient and their family. Services are available to patients with any terminal illness, of any race, religion or age. Our founders include a team of physicians who play a vital part in establishing the clinical directives of a patient’s individualized care.
