About This Role:

As Content Writer volunteer, you will work directly with our CEO to draft compelling content for Garbo’s blog, quizzes, and other long-form writing opportunities. You will cover topics at the intersection of safety, technology, gender-based violence, online dating, social media, and more.

Garbo's blog already gets over 100k views every month - so you'll have a chance to jump in and learn from experts on how to use content and SEO to reach people in need and help them protect themselves in the digital age.

What You’ll Do:

• Write blog posts of 1000-3500 words which can be published under your name
• Have the opportunity to write other types of content such as guest posts, quizzes, etc...
• Learn how to write for SEO and rank for top keywords
• Learn how to create content outlines to scale content writing abilities

What You’ll Need to Succeed :

• Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills
• Strong understanding of Garbo’s target audience (Gen Z, Millennials)
• SEO experience is helpful (but not required)
• Ability to write 1 post every two weeks
