The objectives of WE are to expand the consciousness of WE and to catalyze social engagement through an expansive communications network and unprecedented collaboration of organizations and individuals worldwide. We, The World, its partners and friends, communities, networks, social change movements and individuals will co-create WE as a dynamic, interactive and open partnership . The ever-expanding numbers of partners and co-creators will meet through, the network for social change. WE will promote and publicize collaborative programs, projects and activities as well as plan and manifest hub events in major cities worldwide to inspire, inform and engage a diverse, global community for a call to action.


The Project Management Internship serves as a key function of We, The World by providing direct support to the Chief Operating Officer. This internship will provide the opportunity to learn about Project Management and Social Change Organizations. You will work on projects that will give you hands-on experience with project management methodology, business analysis, quality assurance and change management. The opportunity will allow you to sharpen your communication and problem-solving skills in a business environment. The intern will report to and shadow the Chief Operating Officer.


We expect you to be motivated and proactive. You will work collaboratively with team members, actively participate in discussions, decisions and all project activity. You will work as part of a team and as an individual. You will be engaged and should take pride in your work.


  • Providing administrative support to Chief Operating Officer
  • Support project managers in managing schedules and milestones; ensuring that weekly project statuses are received from team members.
  • Documenting resourcing needs, availability and commitments.
  • Identifying and managing scope, constraints, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and deadlines; documenting risk mitigation plans.
  • Assisting with documentation and other project deliverables.
  • Attend meetings
  • Collaborate with team to create new ideas for Campaigns
  • Assist with project coordination
  • Other projects as assigned

  • Proficiency in G Suite programs (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of WordPress and/or Basecamp preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritize workload and meet deadlines. MUST be proactive and detail-oriented
  • Able and willing to adapt to various duties and be flexible
