Raise a Child of the Carolinas (the RACC) is a 501 c3 non-profit organization focused on exposing youth to educational opportunities that are underrepresented in their communities, thus inspiring them to reach their full potential. The RACC organization was started in 2018 and provides local children with tutoring, seasonal camps and family programs and offers English as a Second Language programs as well. Throughout the pandemic, the RACC has also partnered with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools to offer in-person education solutions to supplement the remote learning process. The RACC is offering a summer internship in Business Management/Administration. This role will be supervised by the Executive Director and will be completely virtual. In this position, candidates will learn business management and non-profit management skills by assisting the Executive Director with leadership duties.
Responsibilities include: * Developing and maintaining community outreach partnerships * Identifying and coordinating public relations events and news appearances * Plan fundraising and community outreach events to increase revenue stream and brand recognition
