Bridges: Domestic & Sexual Violence Support is committed to eliminating domestic and sexual violence, and to providing a safe and empowering environment for the victims and survivors.

We hold volunteer training sessions throughout the year in our Nashua NH office. Please call Maureen for more information if you are interested in 603.889.0858 x212.

Support Line Advocate

As a support line advocate, you will work directly with survivors of sexual and domestic violence, stalking, and human trafficking on our 24/7 hotline. This is a remote opportunity providing support to survivors and their loved ones over the phone.

In this role, you must:

  • Commit to 1 year of service.
  • Complete 30-hour advocate hybrid training. The in-person portion is at our Nashua office.
  • Commit to 2 shifts per month
  • Attend quarterly advocate meetings as well as one-on-one check ins with Volunteer Coordinator.
  • Complete 6 hours of continuing education annually.

2 Shifts

  • 12:00 AM to 06:00 AM
    the support line is staffed 24 hours a day on weekends by volunteers
  • 06:00 PM to 12:00 AM
    the support line is staffed 24 hours a day on weekends by volunteers

  • We work with your schedule. The schedule is sent out weekly and you can decide each week, which day work for you or if you are available to work.
