Meadow Park Summer Youth Program

The Meadow Park Summer Program blends learning and fun! This 6 week course will provide students with different hands-on learning activities. Students will experience a unique mix of learning and major fun.
Volunteers are needed to help supervise and direct activities. Volunteers can come as little or as often as they want by signing up in advance for date(s).

WHEN: June 14 - July 29 (Monday-Thursday)

TIMES: 10:00am-2:30PM *Different shifts are available during that time if you are not able to do the full 4.5 hours.

LOCATION: 1315 6th Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904

WHO: Kindergarten to 12 th graders

WHAT: Activities-soccer, basketball, nature hikes, arts/crafts, gardening, reading/math, biking, water games, cooking, games, metal detecting, martial arts, fishing. Share enthusiasm with children, be their teammate, read with them, help them learn how to figure out the clues to the mystery.

*LUNCH included

**Volunteer must complete a background check prior to volunteering.

Family Service Rochester (FSR) is a community-based, nonprofit organization that provides a wide range of services addressing mental health, child wellbeing, family stability, and senior independence.

FSR was founded in 1965 with a staff of three and the mission to support and enhance the dignity and quality of life for individuals and families in the community. From that small start-up offering counseling and homemaker services, the agency has grown to provide more than 30 programs to meet ever-changing community needs. Volunteers are vital to excellent service delivery to those individuals and families we work with.
