Box City 2021

Help volunteer for the 2021 Box City event presented by the Denver Architecture Foundation in partnership with History Colorado. Box City is an event for children (and their caregivers), grades K-5, where participants learn about the process of urban development and the principles that make for sound architecture, design and planning. The event will be held at the History Colorado Center, 1200 N Broadway, Denver, 80203.

The format for this year’s event allows for safe social distancing:

• The event begins on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31 and ends Sunday, June 6
• Participants will arrive in 14 waves of 12 participants each
• Waves are scheduled each day from 10 am to noon and 1 pm to 3 pm (volunteers are asked to arrive 30 minutes early for orientation)
