Since 2020, the media committee has been a recent addition to Knox Pride that functions as the go-to for almost everything PR/Media/Digital. We are an in-house, volunteer marketing agency that takes care of all things written, design, and digital for Knox Pride. If you’re looking to get some marketing, social, or advertising experience, this is the place to start.

Our team has three main departments: editorial, design, and social.

  1. In the editorial team, we focus on writing blog content, social copy, strategizing content development, and handling press releases when necessary.

  2. The design team prides itself on the visual aspect of Knox Pride and developing collateral for merchandising, blog posts, social content, and event branding.

  3. Lastly, the social team takes care of... well... social platforms. The social team focuses on media plans, social strategy, analytics, and improving user engagement.

*The media team is entirely remote and digital and is at no point (regardless of COVID-19) required to physically attend a Knox Pride event.
