Quick Overview: reDiscover Center regularly gets donations of discarded household, commercial, and industrial materials that have the potential to have a second life as "rediscovered" material for art and education. Those donations need to be sorted, cleaned, photographed, and shelved.

Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities: Our opportunities range from short-term tasks like managing donated materials, and helping out our activities at local Farmers Markets and Festivals, to longer-term commitments like working with kids on a regular basis during Tinkering Club and camp. This is in-person, with our many covid safety protocols. Once you have expressed interest below, you will receive further instructions on how to complete the registration process.

Requirements: All volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that can get dirty. If you can commit to a regular schedule we can teach you how to use the tools and our pedagogy and then you can work with the kids.
