Mi CASA Summer Program will run for 5 weeks this summer in person from July 3-August 3. Volunteers will assist youth, ages 6-18, residing in LTSC affordable housing and surrounding low-income neighborhoods. We are in need of volunteers for this program, which takes place on Monday-Thursday from 12:00pm-6:00pm. Volunteers must be committed to at least one day per week consistently (Monday-Thursday 12:00pm- 6:00pm), but otherwise scheduling is flexible.
Please note that we are implementing safety guidelines & protocols to protect youth and staff from COVID-19. Those required safety guidelines and protocols are as follow:
- Wearing a mask
- Strongly encourage vaccination
- Implementing temperature checks
- Daily sanitation
Some of the daily responsibilities are as follow:
- Engaging in sports and other activities with the youth
- Planning and coordination of activities and recreational engagement
- Helping ensure the safety and well-being of the youth at all times
- Set up/clean up
- Youth participant check-in/check-out
- Snack distribution
