Dedicate an hour and a half to help children express themselves through the use of art! We are looking for volunteers for every other Wednesday evening. Come once or more than once! We visit a homeless shelter from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm to help encourage children to fulfill their dreams. We do this through the use of art!
We focus on empowerment-using only nice words and collaboration. It's so much fun and full of positivity! We bring all the supplies, you come to hang out and help them with the activity! Activity time is from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm but we ask that you are there at 6:45 pm and commit to being there until 8:15 pm.
Please navigate to the CONTRIBUTE page of www.drawchange.org to fill out a volunteer application. This is your first step in volunteering with us.
Thank you for your interest!

Mission Statement
Drawchange is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children from lower socioeconomic situations through the use of art therapy-based programming. Our programs teach coping skills that foster Collaboration, Creation, Dream-building, Empowerment, Imagination, Self-Esteem, and Stress-Relief.
Description
Our vision is to provide the tools neccesary so each child has the ability to fully express themselves.
Art is a vehicle to reach out to students. Engaging them with art enriches their study with all other curriculum subjects. Our strategy is aimed to spark the energy of world peace by igniting the passion of learning in the world’s children.
In using the research based principles of integrating the arts in the general curriculum, we hope to increase self-esteem and thinking skills in children to help them become better world citizens. Wherever there is a need, drawchange wants to be there providing art supplies.
