Black Cube is seeking volunteers to hold public hours in our shipping container at the site of Matt Barton's art installation "Community Forms" on the TAXI Campus. The shipping container is located adjacent to the artwork and will contain exhibition didactics. Volunteers will be expected to monitor the shipping container, track visitor attendance, and gather visitor feedback. Black Cube staff will be on site to open and lock the shipping container for volunteer shifts. We will be following Denver’s COVID-19 public health orders.

About Black Cube Nomadic Art Museum
Location:
2925 S Umatilla St, Englewood, CO 80110, US
Mission Statement
Black Cube is a nonprofit, experimental art museum that nurtures the self-sufficiency of artists and inspires people to discover and appreciate contemporary art beyond traditional white museum and gallery walls.
Description
Our Story: The traditional idea of a museum, on its head
Unlike stationary museums marked primarily by their architecture, Black Cube has no permanent exhibition space or collection. We prefer to be defined by the art and artists (known as fellows) that we present and support. We begin with the ideas of our artist fellows and craft customize each art experience based on their thoughts and concept.
Working outside the boundaries of a gallery space, Black Cube is always evolving as it explores experimental approaches to presenting and engaging the art of today. Furthermore, by constantly changing our location, our projects aspire to reach new audiences not regularly exposed to contemporary art.
Founded in 2015 by artist and philanthropist, Laura Merage, the institution upholds the belief that art is an essential part of a vibrant, just, and healthy society.
