Virtual Business Manager Job Description

Zion World Wide Mission is in search of a highly skilled virtual business manager to join our team as a volunteer to help us continue our tradition of improving the conditions of life of underprivileged people here in Colorado Springs, CO and around the world. We value unparalleled client services and all around volunteer satisfaction. As an ideal volunteer candidate, you have a track record of excellent managerial experience. You’ve previously managed day-to-day operational activities, including community services production, volunteer coordination’s, and have a mind for accounting and finance processes. You’re a motivated leader who thrives on creating a climate of inclusion, trust, and productivity. Ultimately, you’re responsible for continuing the success of our daily business practices - and growing our, Zion World Wide Mission, Inc., Colorado operations.

Objectives of this Role

• Strategize, implement, and oversee processes for increased productivity and growth
• Design daily operational programs that produce organizational objectives
• Manage volunteer activities
• Establish and grow relationships with appropriate partners
• Establish cost parameters and manage the overall P&L of Zion World Wide Mission in Colorado

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Supervise volunteer production and counsel toward improved efficiency with internal processes that adhere to legal guidelines
• Provide appropriate data analytics regarding partners and other business functions to appropriate management team
• Work with assistant managers to develop long-term strategic initiatives
• Support client and partner-facing operations, including social media, advertising, marketing and public relations

Skills and Qualifications

• Having a degree is a plus but not a requirement, in business management, or related field
• At least 2-years of experience as a business manager or relevant managerial role
• Proven experience with business and strategy development processes
• Outstanding poise in a medium-paced business environment
• Notable leadership skills, with a focus in coaching and development
