Please join and support our small dedicated team and be part of an amazing and hardworking group of volunteers. This volunteer role is essential to the success of our tax services to strengthen our San Francisco Bay Area community.

Responsibilities & Task

• Meet clients to verify their identity
• Interact with taxpayers to determine the necessary information for completing a tax return
• Review and understand client tax documents, financial records
• Maintain confidentiality of client information
• Comfortable working with a diverse group of clients

Requirements

• Strong client relations and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Highly organized, detail oriented
• Experience using google docs
• Some prior tax or financial experience is required
• Spanish or Cantonese language skills a plus

This is a volunteer position and has a time commitment varying between 2 and 4 hours per month and averages around 4 with a minimum of 6 month commitment.
