Blood Drive

Are you a team player?

The American Red Cross of Southern Arizona is looking for a volunteer with team leader capabilities to help organize and support the Biomedical Services transportation team.

The transportation team helps deliver blood to or from hospitals, labs and both mobile and fixed blood drives. They play an integral role in the success of supplying the community's blood supply for those in need.

The Team Lead for this program is being asked to work administratively to organize the team's schedule and communicates when last minute vacancies need filled. You may also be asked to help support day-to-day tasks like assisting answering phone calls from team members, sending out daily/weekly schedules for awareness and running reports to provide data to the supervisor.

The Team Lead will also be asked to support the onboarding of new volunteers so that they are being welcomed and feel a part of this life-saving team!

We are asking for a 5-10 hour a week commitment.
