Take part in serving our larger community by volunteering at our HFB-North Branch location to build disaster boxes and Home Delivery Kits. An easy warehouse box building project helping to serve individuals, partners, and those in need in our communities.
Volunteers must be able to stand, move and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods of time in order to stack and shrink-wrap boxes on pallets. Manual pallet jacks will be available.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- Look for HFB-NORTH BRANCH on the HFB's Volunteer Registration Calendar.
- Closed-toe shoes and FACE COVERING or MASK REQUIRED (please bring your own)
- This work will be indoors without air conditioning. Bring bottled water, work gloves and hat or sweatband (if desired.)
- You must be able to stand for an extended period of time and safely lift and carry 30- 40 lbs.
- Not suitable for volunteers under the age of 16.
