Jewish Family Service is looking for volunteers for the Friendly Connection Program (formerly the Friendly Caller Program) to make routine, check in phone or video calls to older adults and/or to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are homebound and isolated now more than ever during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Connections should be made 1-2 times/week and should last about 15 minutes. Flexible with schedule. Volunteers MUST reside in Monroe County, NY. Training and guidelines provided and volunteers must complete a criminal background check prior to volunteering.
