First Love Yourself, Inc. is an entirely volunteer-run nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing levels of self-love among youth of marginalized communities.

Currently, we are looking for qualified individuals to apply for our Director of Development role!

Reporting to and in partnership with the Executive Director, the Director of Development (Director) will spearhead development efforts as FLY continues to grow. A new position in the organization, the Director will have the opportunity to build the development function.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute FLY's annual fundraising plan
  • Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors
  • Creating and executing a strategy for a large sustained base of annual individual donors
  • Overseeing organization of special events
  • Help bring awareness and support for FLY's programs
  • Developing and tracking proposals and reports for all foundation and corporate fundraising
