My husband Luis and I created SoulPhamm, a sports and arts program for kids in New York and New Jersey. The goal of SoulPhamm is to create engaging and unique competitive and performing experiences for young people who have had a very difficult and trying year due to the pandemic. In January, 2021 Luis, my partner and very best friend, died suddenly and although the loss hurts, I am compelled to open SoulPhamm and now dedicate it to his memory. But I need help!
I am looking for a coach to work with our newly developing girls' cheerleading program from October, 2021 to June, 2022. Volunteers who serve one full season with us (9 months) are eligible to receive a weekly stipend if they return the following season.
The team will be located in Downtown Newark and will practice on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm. We are looking to relocate the team in November to either another location in Newark, East Orange, or to a location in Hudson County (likely Bayonne or Jersey City). If we are unable to find a new location by the end of October, we may need to switch practice time to 3pm to 5pm to remain in our current location.
Coaching experience is NOT required, but "fairly" recent experience with cheer is required.

Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
