Over the past 10 years, Baby2Baby has distributed over 175 million items to children in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, foster care, hospitals and underserved schools as well as to children across the country who have lost everything in the wake of disasters.

Children living in poverty are the most vulnerable in any crisis, and COVID-19 is no exception. The families that Baby2Baby serves were struggling to make ends meet before the crisis, and now they are struggling even more due to months of lost income, millions of lost jobs and increased lack of access to these critical items. We need volunteers more than ever to help us meet the need that is growing every day, and we are able to provide opportunities for you or your group to give back safely to the children who need it most.

Volunteer at Baby2Baby's headquarters for in-person and outdoor volunteer sessions held twice a week for individuals and groups of 10 people or less. These sessions are two hours long and provide our generous volunteers the opportunity to prepare and assemble basic essentials to send to the children and families being hit the hardest by the pandemic in Los Angeles and across the country. All sessions will take place under tents with all volunteers separated by 6 feet or more.

All volunteers must practice social distancing and follow the recommended CDC Guidelines listed below to the best of their ability during the session.

CDC Guidelines

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or if soap and water are not readily available, use hand sanitizer.
• Wear a cloth or disposable mask outside the space.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Remain at least 6 feet away from those outside your household at all times.
• Notify the Volunteer and Community Team immediately if you begin to feel unwell.
