Do you like a good scavenger hunt? Are you good at finding things? Parks and Recreation is doing our annual inventory and we need to locate thousands of pieces of equipment, structures and fixtures throughout the County.
Volunteers are wanted to help with locating items, taking photos of items located with staff assistance, naming and downloading photos of inventory after staff has located them and data entry.
You can volunteer a little or a lot.
Qualifications:
For assistance in the field you must have a valid driver's license and be willing to use your own car. To assist in the field you will ride with a staff member planned in advance.
To help with photos and data entry, you will be assigned a park location to work from and receive training.
A volunteer application must be on file. Background screening is required to volunteer with us. You must track and submit your volunteer hours.

The Volunteer Program offers flexible hours and works with your schedule! Applications are accepted year-round, and volunteers may choose to work in one location, or move throughout the county. Opportunities vary based on the needs of each location
