Role:
- Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary group (Nurse, Social Worker, Chaplain, Medical Doctor) amid various settings: home care; nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and board and car homes.
- Serves the patient and family/ caregiver under guidance of Volunteer Coordinator and Case Manager or as a part of the administrative team.
- Presently looking for volunteers who are massage therapists, sound healers, Reiki healers, light house keeping, caregiver relief, pet therapy
- Maintains compassionate communication and listening
- Participates in volunteer support groups and/or educational inservices.
- Any special talent you may want to share with patients
