The students at North Orange Continuing Education College are struggling to get enough food during the COVID-19 pandemic and Pathways is able to provide a weekly drive through to collect food and get access to housing assistance.
Pathways of Hope's NOCE College Food Bank needs your help!
Would you like to organize shelf stable food and prepare about 150 bags of food on Thursday, Aug 19th for NOCE College students?
The open shifts are for the dates listed on either a Thursday at 11am-1pm and 3-5pm.
Volunteers need to be able to lift 20 lbs, unvaccinated volunteers need to wear a face covering, sign a volunteer waiver, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring drinking water. We are seeking weekly volunteers, but if you can sub until we find one please sign up!

To provide access to food, shelter, and life skills training to those experiencing hunger and homelessness in North Orange County.
Description
Pathways of Hope is committed to rebuilding lives of the hungry and homeless in Orange County through Housing, Outreach, Prevention, and Engagement. Once a family or individual has become homeless, the path back to stability can be very challenging. Pathways of Hope offers several housing options to fit different situations, all with the goal of helping families and individuals re-gain permanent housing as quickly as possible. Pathways of Hope operates a resource center, the HUB of Hope, which offers emergency food and hygiene items to homeless and low-income families and individuals in Orange County. - We provide all training onsite, but must first register with the Volunteer Coordinator and complete an online volunteer application at www.pohoc.org/volunteer.
- Volunteers need to be able to lift 20 lbs, unvaccinated volunteers need to wear a mask, fill out the online volunteer application, sign waivers, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring drinking water.
