Health Care and Mental Health Care workers are a critical part of the American Red Cross as together we care for those that have been impacted by disaster! The Red Cross makes it easy for you to serve! Apply to volunteer, train virtually and serve in shifts as it fits with your schedule! Healthcare volunteers must hold a current and unencumbered license to serve on our Health Services and Mental Health Services teams (LSW, RN, LPN, LVN, EMT, Paramedic, MD, DO, etc...). Students enrolled in medical school can serve under the supervision of a licensed professional. Apply today at www.redcross.org/volunteer. Questions? Contact volunteerntx@redcross.org. We look forward to welcoming you onto the Red Cross team as we prepare to serve our communities through a very active storm season!
