We are pulling together a team to help with the Summer Break Baltimore program. We need as many volunteers as possible to pack the boxes and help with other tasks for this program that starts the first week of June. The volunteer work will be done in the Central Library (400 Cathedral St., Baltimore, 21201, on the second floor.

Volunteer Project Information:Who: Baltimore City students: The Pratt Library summer program--Summer Break Baltimore--is a fun, free program for all ages that encourages literacy and learning in our community. Baltimore City students who sign up receive a Baltimore box with a book, prizes, a scratch-off card, an event calendar, and more! What: We need lots of volunteers to help pack and distribute the boxes. Where: The packaging will be done on the second floor in the Creative Arts Room of the Central Library.When: Summer Break Baltimore starts the first week of June, and packing will begin during the second two weeks of May and continue throughout the summer.Contact Information: If you are interested in helping, please let me know (Pam). We'll begin packing boxes during the last two weeks of May and continue throughout the summer. Each box contains a book, school materials, and other fun things for the students.

The volunteer commitment can be any number of hours, from 1 to 10 each week. This opportunity for Baltimore Children will only succeed if we can get the materials out to the kids.
