Collier County Parks and Recreation is looking for a Virtual Opportunity Specialist. This position would research and identify virtual volunteer opportunities to be implemented in our volunteer program.
Internet access is required. A weekly meeting via virtual platform is required on an ongoing basis. A completed volunteer application is required and tracking of your hours for submission to the agency will be required on a regular basis.
The timeframe is flexible for this program. We would like to implement as many virtual opportunities as possible, in line with our mission statement over the next several months to a year. A meeting will be required to discuss our Organization, our Mission and Vision statements and to provide information and guidance for commencement of this project. A minimum of 4 hours a week is required, with weekly summary submittals to the volunteer coordinator, during the research process.
We would like to help you meet your professional development goals through this opportunity. If possible, we would like to try to accommodate your goals if we can.
If interested, the candidate may help with the creation of a job description for virtual opportunities, that they identify, and may be involved in the roll out process. This is not a requir ement.
