Looking for musical people to share their talent and their love!
You can offer some joy to our hospice patients by assisting our Music Therapists. They would recommend the music or genre and you could sing, play your instrument or the recorded music chosen specifically for each patient. We only ask for an hour a week as a commitment!
We offer volunteer training, COVID-19 testing and vaccines. Visits would be done in the patient's home or other healthcare facility.

Description
Sonata Hospice Volunteers are trained to meet the needs of families and patients by providing companionship and short-term respite care. These volunteers are hand-selected and trained. Following reference and background checks, these individuals complete extensive training prior to working with patients. Volunteers make things easier by offering caregiver relief’, companionship, sharing of special interests, letter writing, reading to the patient or help with errands. We are always looking for quality volunteers. Please contact us to learn more about how you can help bring comfort to those in need.
