We are incorporating and are building a strong, healthy team.

Board Members with DEFEND will oversee DEFEND's overall goals and ensure our mission statement is at the core of all organization choices. Individuals will meet ONCE per month on Zoom. Approximately one hour per month.

The Board will oversee our Committee which is overseeing several Teams. The Board will also be responsible for Executive Level Staff/Volunteers (who are running the corporation on a day-to-day basis).

Absolutely NO EXPERIENCE necessary. Someone with management or administration type experiences are helpful. You will be trained.

Key Responsibilities
-Attend and contribute in month meetings;
-Communicate with members of the Committee as needed
-Assess corporate policies and bylaws and have a say in their development;
-Assess worthiness of monetary investments and oversee large spending and liabilities
-Hire executive level staff and decide on compensation if applicable
