ORGANIZATION: AMERICAN RED CROSS

Are you interested in being a volunteer with our Fundraising and Development Team? The American Red Cross, Virginia Region, is looking for an outstanding volunteer to assist with research and documentation relating to grants and foundations. If you have at least five hours per week and can help for three months, the team needs you.

Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and flexibility
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to plan, organize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate and organize multiple functions and activities
  • Work with extremely tight deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Required)
  • Ability to effectively maintain the security of sensitive and confidential information
