Lantern is a supportive housing nonprofit based in New York City, overseeing a total of 16 residential buildings and two homeless shelters. Currently, Lantern is looking for someone who can help deliver and distribute food to our residents at Silverleaf Hall.
We are collaborating with IRC's New Roots Farm at 11:30 on Fridays to help load the produce on the van. Then, the volunteer can help distribute the food to Silverleaf Hall, one of our family buildings in the Bronx. IRC's New Roots Farm is located at 670 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY 10451.
The commitment would likely be from 11:30am-1:00pm on Fridays.
Please contact mkwon@lanterncommunity.org if you are interested!
