K2H Civic Futures Liaison - History Colorado Center Learning Experiences Department
Stipend: This is a unique opportunity to work and learn as an AmeriCorps volunteer - in a capacity building function- for the History Colorado Center in Denver, Colorado. As a K2H Civic Futures Mentor, this 1,700 hour full time, full year volunteer position receive a living stipend of $14,000 and an education award of ~$6,000 upon successful completion of the program.
The Liaison will work together with our Learning Experience Department team on both off and on-site educational programming and capacity building. The AmeriCorps member will act as the main contact for Hands on History after-school programs for the History Colorado Community Museums, and will work to recruit new schools and students to the program.
This position is 1,700 hours, part-time, around 30 hours per week with required weekday availability.

Responsibilities:
-Coordination and maintenance of trunk & artifact kit rental program
-Coordination of onsite check in for in person programs, such as field trips, during the summer and school year - Support & coordination of Learning Experiences program logistics, including virtual programs - Work with Classroom Programs Manager to develop content, marketing materials, and external communications.
- Work in tandem with site directors to build audience for all programs with a focus on schools, Hands on History, and field trips
-Assist in community engagement programs and activities.
-Research funding opportunities with Philanthropy department for sustainability of programs
- Additional duties as assigned

AmeriCorps Member Benefits include:
