IMAGINE a time when you have felt alone and abandoned. This is how many people feel as they age and become less able to participate in society!
IMAGINE that you can make that difference in someone else's life between feeling unloved or unnecessary, to loved and wanted!
IMAGINE your own parent or grandparent sitting alone and needing someone to just reach out and make them feel worth attention and still a part of the community!

We are looking for volunteers that are able to Hold a Hand, Share a Story, Send a Card, Listen, Read, or Sing, We are looking for someone who could Run Errands or Perform Light Housekeeping. Someone to share Flowers, Bake some Cookies, or Garden. Someone who can sometimes relate to our Veterans. Maybe someone to just come SIT, TALK, and LISTEN! Just having a presence other than the four walls of their room is an amazing gift!

Regency Hospice is an organization that cares for people with a life-limiting illness and a life expectancy of 6 months or less, who have chosen to focus on comfort care over treatment.

As a volunteer, you would provide necessary companionship and comfort to our patients to give them a sense of worth and well being!

Requirements include: Passing a background check, a drug test, and a fingerprint exam. After these requirements are completed, you will receive training on how to be a volunteer and what is required to provide the best care possible, while following company guidelines. Due to Covid, all volunteers must be vaccinated. FINALLY -the MAIN requirement is a ready smile and a willing attitude!

The Covid-19 virus has taken a toll on our precious patients and it is now time to give them the comfort of companionship and fellowship. You could be the one person in the patients life to bring a smile.

This opportunity is open to all of Walton County, FL.
Please call me today and let me start you on the path of the most rewarding program you have ever encountered with the most professional and caring company!
