Are you good at organizing a large group of people and managing ongoing operations? Are you top notch at responding to inbound questions from potential volunteers? We would love to have you onboard to help coordinate volunteers on behalf of the Placentia Library Friends Foundation, an organization that exists to provide funding and volunteers to the Placentia Library. Role responsibilities include:

1) Maintain a database in Google Sheets of all volunteers, roles, and shifts
2) Coordinate with the Placentia Library's volunteer coordinator as needed
3) Lead the planning efforts for the Placentia Library Volunteer Appreciation event
4) Communicate with all volunteers - be the intermediary between volunteers and the Board/President, answer any questions or concerns, etc.
5) Conduct trainings for new volunteers (live at library)
6) Responding to all inbound inquiries
7) Find backup volunteers when a volunteer is unable to make the bookstore shift

We would like someone who can commit through December 2021.

Thank you!
