We are looking for volunteers to help with all aspects of the Orlando Fringe! From scanning tickets, box office, merchandise, beer tent, green team, and helping with the Kids Fringe on the weekends!
Fringe is a 14-day celebration of theater, art, and performance! Our event will be located in Loch Haven Park at the Orlando Shakes Theater and Orlando Family Stages!
Step one is to register at: https://tinyurl.com/OFVolunteerRegistration
Even though we have clicked "no shifts", we do operate via shifts hosted on Sign-Up Genius. The link to those are provided via email in April to those registered. Shifts range from 2-4 hours. We ask for volunteers to sign up for 16 hours during the 2-week long festival, but we also really appreciate any time you have to offer.
Teens are welcome to volunteer at age 13 with an accompanying adult, and at 15 on their own.
What You Can Expect as a Volunteer
As a volunteer, you can expect to be a valuable part of the Orlando Fringe team. You can expect to be treated with courtesy and respect. We want this to be a positive experience for everyone involved; you should expect to work hard and have fun. While there is a great deal for us to do, there is also time to make new friends and enjoy the festival. Flexibility and a sense of humor are always great assets to have!
What Fringe Expects from Our Volunteers
As a volunteer you are expected to arrive for your shifts on time, ready to volunteer, and don't forget to bring your good attitude. We expect volunteers to treat each other, Orlando Fringe patrons, and staff in the same manner that they would want to be treated: with a smile and courteous attitude at all times. The Orlando Fringe is a place of inclusivity welcoming everyone!
