About Multicultural Refugee Coalition

PO Box 41566, Austin, TX 78704, US

Mission Statement

Multicultural Refugee Coalition (MRC) creates livelihood opportunities for refugees.

MRC blends skills-based education with social entrepreneurship to connect refugees to dignified, fair-wage work in Austin. We operate a commercial farm and sewing studio.

Open Arms Studio is a textile manufacturer employing refugees at a fair wage in Austin, Texas, through advanced sewing training and fair-wage employment. New Leaf Agriculture connects refugee families to the land, both by matching them to community garden plots and employing skilled farmers at our local commercial farm.
